Services
The Town Clerk's office provides many different licenses, certificates, and permits to Town of Pompey residents.
In addition, the Town Clerk has served as the official "Keeper of the Records" for the town since the late 1700s.
We invite you to visit our office. Our courteous staff is ready to assist you with these public services:

Birth and death certificates are available from the Onondaga County Office of Vital Statistics.

Tax Collection
The Pompey Town Clerk also serves as the Town’s Tax Collector. The Tax Collector is responsible for processing property and school taxes collected by Pompey town government along with school taxes for Fayetteville-Manlius and Jamesville-DeWitt School Districts.
Town/county property tax collections are collected in January and school property taxes are collected in September. Please see our Tax Schedule for critical dates in the tax roll preparation process and for the most current tax due dates.

If you are a new homeowner, please contact us as soon as possible so we can update property ownership information. If you do not contact us, the tax bill for your property may be undeliverable causing late payment and penalty fees.
